Epipremnum Aureum 'Valencia'
Epipremnum Valencia, also known as Pothos Valencia, is a cultivar of the Epipremnum Aureum (Pothos) plant, known for its vibrant, neon-yellow variegation against a dark green background. It's a popular choice among houseplant enthusiasts due to its striking appearance and relatively easy care requirements.
This plant was developed by Japanese breeding expert Terunoworld, specializing in pothos varieties. It was one of the first types they created and served as a parent for many newer generations. While many source state the plant came from the Golden Pothos, the patent shows that it was mutated from the 'Marble Queen' cultivar.
Basic Care
Valencia is relatively low-maintenance. It prefers bright, indirect light, well-draining soil, and moderate watering, allowing the top inch or two of soil to dry out between waterings.
