Scindapsus 'Perlas'

The name "Perlas" was bestowed upon by Kean and Micki, and in Tagalog, "Perlas" translates to "Pearl." This choice resonated because it elegantly links the plant's white-speckled green variegation with the allure of pearls often associated with the Philippines. It also evokes the name "Perlas ng Silanganan" or "Pearl of the Orient," frequently used to describe the Philippines. Its multitudinous green specks also portrays the numerous islands in that can be found in the Philippines. This selection beautifully encapsulates the rarity and beauty of this cultivar.
