Scindapsus Pictus 'Exotica'
Exotica is distinguished from other Scindapsus by its larger, heart-shaped leaves with a silvery, reflective variegation that can sometimes cover an entire leaf. While, this one is a slower growing variety of the Scindapsus; in time, its vines grow quite long. Exotica is great for a hanging basket or a moss pole. It has a unique velvety texture!
Basic Care
The Exotica need bright light that is indirect. Direct light will cause the plant’s leaves to burn, while too little light will cause the plant’s color to fade. This plant will tolerate some medium to lower light conditions, but it can impede its growth rate.
Exotica prefers to allow their soil to dry out a bit before watering. Wait to water the plant until about 75% of its soil is dry. When it is time to water the Exotica, make sure to do so deeply, soaking the roots and allowing the excess water to drain out.
