Aglaonema Red Emerald
The Aglaonema 'Wishes' is a classic interior house plant popular for its lush green leaves streaked with light green variegation. These nearly indestructible plants are extremely easy to care for and is highly recommended for new plant parents.
Chinese Evergreen is the common name for Aglaonema plant. The most common varieties of Aglaonema are the Aglaonema Emerald Beauty a.k.a. Maria, Aglaonema Silver Queen and the Aglaonema Silver Bay. They have a bush-like or clumping growth and, depending on the pot size, can be from 8 inches to 4 feet tall.
Basic Care
Aglaonema Red Emerald plants will survive in low light but will become thin and leggy. For a nice looking plant, try to provide bright, diffused natural light or some artificial fluorescent light.
I keep mine near a fluorescent light.
Water every 7-9 days in the warmer months & every 2-3 weeks in the winter. The watering schedule will vary for you depending on your home environment. I let my Emerald almost dry completely before watering.
