Monstera Deliciosa "Thai Constellation"
Monstera Deliciosa 'Thai Constellation' is an impressive, spreading, easy-to-grow and generally low maintenance plant. This cultivar produces attractive variegated leaves marbled with splashes of creamy-yellow colouring. The cultivar Thai Constellation can be kept indoors as a distinctive foliage houseplant.
Basic Care
Thai constellation will need very consistent bright, indirect light. Make sure to place your monstera near a bright, preferably east- or south-facing window where it will get lots of light but never directly in the sun’s rays. This will help provide the plant with plenty of sunlight to convert to energy without scorching the leaves.
Note: I keep mine under a (full spectrum) grow light 15 hours daily and it works very well.
Water your plant when the top two to three inches are dry. It is best to use distilled or rain-water.
Humidity Humidity Humidity is very important! Your Thai constellation monstera will also need plenty of humidity to keep its leaves supple and healthy! Unless your home is quite humid, try setting your monstera on a pebble tray (fill a shallow tray with pebbles and water, and place the plant—pot and all—on top. Don’t let the soil or roots touch the water). This will create some humidity around your plant as the water evaporates. You can also set up a nearby humidifier. With my experience, if you spray the leaves and any droppings are left on the leaves, they will turn brown.
